Serves 4

Ingredients:
  1. Beef pasanday (thin sliced beef steaks) 1 kg.
  2. Hanson Red Chili Paste 3 tbsp
  3. Salt 1 1/2 tsp.
  4. Cumin seeds 1 tsp.
  5. Black pepper corn 5
  6. Cloves 4
  7. Cinnamon 1/2 inch piece
  8. Black Cardamon seeds 1-2
  9. Poppy seeds 1 tbsp.
  10. Gram flour 2 tbsp.
  11. Hanson Papaya paste 2 tbsp.
  12. Hanson Fried Onion
  13. Hanson Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp.
  14. Yogurt 1/2 cup
  15. Oil 4 tbsp.

 

Method:
  • Toast cumin seeds, black pepper corn, cloves, cinnamon, black Cardamon seeds, poppy seeds and gram flour, separately one by one.
  • Grind them together.
  • Take out Hanson’s Fried Onion and crush them with hands into small pieces or in a processor.
  • Marinade the beef pasanday with the grinded spices, salt, ginger garlic paste, papaya paste, crushed fried onions and yogurt.
  • Leave for 3-4 hours.
  • Add oil in a pan and add pasanday.
  • Cook on high heat till the water dries.
  • Lower the heat and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
  • Take out in a dish serve with naan, taftan or sheermaal.
