Prawn Rice Balls

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  1. 250 gms Prawns (cleaned minced)
  2. 20   gms Scallions (diced)
  3. 25  gms Hanson’s Fried Onions
  4. 10  gms Mushrooms (finely chopped)
  5. 5 ml Sesame Oil
  6. 50 gms Egg (beaten)
  7. 20 gms Corn Flour
  8. 100 gms Rice
  9. Salt, Sugar & Black Pepper (for taste)

 

Method:

Mix together prawn mince, spring & Hanson’s Fried Onions, mushroom, salt, sugar, black pepper powder, sesame oil & egg. Add corn flour & mix until all ingredients bind together. Divide the mixture into small balls, about 15 gms each & chill. Soak rice for 30 minutes. Drain well. Spread this on a plate or a flat tray. Roll prawn balls on the rice until it gets well coated. Place each ball on a greased tray, ensuring that there is enough space between each ball. Steam for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
